About the Kosekofte hat:
The Kosekofte hat has been designed by Skeindeer, using my beautiful Excelana DK wool, a blend of Exmoor Mule and Bluefaced Leicester fleeces, worsted spun into a soft but surprisingly robust yarn which is perfect for colourwork. Skeindeer has used Excelana for several of her striking designs.
The Kosekofte hat is a slouchy style hat with a deep brim. A contrasting colourwork motif is worked across the brim creating real drama.
Skeindeer has chosen a classic colour combination for this hat, using Dark As Night, a deep navy for the contrasting colourwork motif, and Snowdrop, the natural cream of Excelana for the main part of the hat.
The pattern contains full written instructions as well as charted instructions and clear schematic diagrams.
